The road project from Kharp to a ski resort in the YNAO has passed state expert appraisal

The State Expert Review Board has approved the project for the construction of a road section from the settlement of Kharp to the Rai-Iz ski resort (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District). The relevant information is posted on the GIS EGRZ portal.

The positive opinion was issued for the project of construction of the road section Kharp - Ski Center - Snezhinka IAC. The project is being implemented by Polar Highway LLC under a concession agreement with the Yamal Government. According to the data for 2023 cited by the Ura.ru news agency, the construction was estimated at 10.5 billion rubles.

The news agency writes that at the end of July 2024 the construction of a 19.5 km long temporary road to the Rai-Iz peaks began. It will be used to bring materials and equipment necessary for the construction of the main section Kharp - Ski Center.

The new road will connect the settlement of Kharp and the facilities of the future tourist cluster - the ski resort on Rai-Iz Mountain and the Snezhinka IAC.
