A car burned down in Belgorod region after an AFU drone strike

A car was burned and a number of other objects were damaged as a result of drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in two villages in Belgorod Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on Friday, November 22.

"In the village of Yasniye Zori, Belgorod district, an FPV drone struck a parked passenger car - the vehicle was completely destroyed by fire. The facade of a commercial facility was also damaged," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Another car was significantly damaged in a kamikaze drone attack in the village of Borisovka, Volokonovsky district. There, too, a gas pipe was broken on the grounds of a house, the gas leak has already been eliminated.

Information about the consequences of the attacks in the settlements is being clarified.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that overnight air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 23 Ukrainian drones over the territories of Russian regions. Of these, 12 UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Bryansk region, nine over the Kaluga region and two more over the Kursk region.

Before that, on November 20, AFU drones attacked several villages in Belgorod region. A woman and a 15-year-old girl were injured.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
