Chita authorities reported on the progress of lighting modernization

Large-scale works on modernization of the outdoor lighting system are taking place in Chita. As of Thursday, November 21, 5,002 lamps, 195 emergency poles and 207 km of networks have been replaced in the regional capital, the press service of the city administration reports in its Telegram.

The concessionaire company "BL Region" acts as a contractor. According to IA ChitaMedia, the organization is behind schedule. In total it is planned to replace 12 641 lamps, 919 supports and to lay 257 km of networks.

In addition to replacing old equipment, 906 poles have been installed in Chita, 984 embedded for their further installation have been made, and 10,454 meters of new power grids have been built.

The capital of Transbaikalia has already received 10.4 thousand lighting fixtures, 1.8 thousand metal poles complete with tabs, 354 km of self-supporting insulated wires and 150 control cabinets. Next week delivery of another 2.6 thousand luminaires, 137 control cabinets, 800 reinforced concrete and 1656 metal supports is expected.

Earlier it was reported that the modernization of lighting in Chita will be held under the program "Far Eastern Concession". The project with a total cost of 1.9 billion rubles will provide lighting of 100% of public spaces.
