Rosgvardeys were presented with combat awards at the department's main hospital


Deputy head of the Russian Federal Guard Service, Colonel-General Alexei Vorobyov, and Assistant to the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian National Guard Troops, Hero of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alibek Delimkhanov presented state awards to Rosgvardeys on behalf of the Director of the Department, Army General Viktor Zolotov. This was reported in the press service of the department.
The awards were presented at the main hospital of the Rosgvardia to servicemen, who were wounded while performing tasks during a special military operation.
Three Rosgvardeys received state awards. The Order of Courage was awarded to Sergeant Mars I., the insignia of the Order of St. George - St. George Cross IV degree was awarded to Sergeant Akhmed T., and the Medal of Suvorov was awarded to Sergeant Konstantin V..
Colonel-General Vorobyov and Colonel-General Delimkhanov expressed gratitude to the military for their courage and determination, as well as for the high level of professionalism.
Earlier, on November 19, Colonel General Viktor Goremykin, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and head of the country's Main Military and Political Directorate, presented state awards to servicemen of the Vostok group of troops who distinguished themselves during the liberation of Ugledar in the Donetsk People's Republic.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
