- Media reported an emergency meeting of NATO because of the "Nuttall" strike on Ukraine

An emergency meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council will be held in Brussels on November 26. This was reported by RTÉ News on November 22, citing Agency France-Presse.
It is specified that the meeting will discuss the consequences of the use of the new Russian medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) Oreshnik against a facility of Ukraine's defense industrial complex (DIC).
The previous evening, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to take on elements of a global conflict. He also revealed that a test of the Oreshnik ballistic missile had taken place under combat conditions.
The strike was made on the plant "Yuzhmash" in Dnepropetrovsk. Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), called the launch a fair response to Kiev's aggression against peaceful Russian cities. Later, in his Telegram channel, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (term expired on May 20) demanded a reaction from the world.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
