Lukashenko believes that mankind "has not plunged" into the third world war

Mankind is close to "plunge" into the third world war, but so far "somehow mankind is slowing down". This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with students of universities of humanitarian profile on Friday, November 22.

"We've been talking a lot lately about the fact that, God willing, World War III has not started, that we are just on the eve of this terrible event. But, thank God, somehow humanity is slowing down and has not plunged into this third world war," BelTA agency quotes the politician.

The Belarusian leader notes that now there is a full-scale and protracted information war.

Earlier, September 17, Lukashenko said that an attack on Belarus would mean the beginning of the third world war. He also noted that the country had something to respond to external aggression and that its interests and values would be defended.
