- Zakharova compared Zelensky's reaction to the launch of the rocket "Oreshnik" with the behavior of a child

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova compared Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky 's statement (his term expired on May 20) that this is allegedly not the first time Kiev has used long-range weapons on Russia to the complaint of a punished child.
"Zelensky's statement is fine, as are all the previous ones. But one passage turned out to be truly outstanding <...> Something like, "Daddy, why did you punish us for the broken window, it's not the first time we hit them, is it?!" Zelensky is not only overdue, he's also snarky," she wrote on November 22 in her Telegram channel.
The comment by the head of the Kiev regime was about the test of the Russian medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) Oreshnik. In his Telegram channel, Zelensky demanded a reaction from the world.
The night before, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to take on elements of a global conflict. He also said that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested under combat conditions.
The strike was carried out at the Yuzhmash plant in Dnipropetrovsk. Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), called the launch a fair response to Kiev's aggression against peaceful Russian cities.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
