Orban called the coming two months the most dangerous for the world

The next two months will be dangerous because the administration of incumbent US President Joe Biden wants to worsen the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Friday, November 22, on the air of radio station Kossuth.
"The two most dangerous months of the conflict are coming. With the victory of [newly elected US leader Donald] Trump, peace has become possible, but the outgoing Democrats seem to want to leave behind a heavier legacy than the one at the time of his victory," the politician said.
According to him, without American support, Ukraine will not be able to effectively use long-range missiles due to the difficulty of targeting them, so military assistance from Europe will be ineffective.
"Ukrainians are not capable of targeting these (long-range) missiles, because to do so after launch, an electronic guidance system is used, which requires the most advanced technologies in the world, including the capabilities of communication satellites. So I think it is a convincing assumption that these missiles cannot be launched without the participation of American personnel," Orban said.
He also emphasized the seriousness of Russian President Vladimir Putin 's statement about the test of the Oreshnik missile, pointing out the difference between the West's rhetoric, where only words are used, and Russia's, where everything is confirmed by real actions.
Orban urged Europe to act pragmatically, considering the possible consequences.
Putin said the previous night that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state, causing the regional conflict to take on elements of a global conflict. He also revealed that one of Russia's newest medium-range missile systems, the Oreshnik ballistic missile, had been tested in combat conditions in response to the aggression. The strike was carried out at the Yuzhmash plant in Dnipropetrovsk.
On the same day, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Washington was trying to raise as much money as possible to prolong the fighting in Ukraine before Trump takes office. She noted that the Pentagon is accelerating military aid to Kiev, increasing the volume of supplies every day.
Prior to that, The Washington Post (WP) reported that the current US President approved the supply of anti-personnel mines to Ukraine to "deter the advance of Russian troops". WP recalled that in 2022 he renewed the ban on the use of such mines, effectively reversing the decision of his predecessor Donald Trump.
The special operation to protect Donbass, which began on February 24, 2022, is ongoing. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
