Media pointed to Kiev's failure due to mobilization of narrowly focused specialists

The mobilization of narrowly focused military specialists in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) demonstrates Kiev's failure on the frontline and in state administration. This was reported by the Strategic Culture magazine on Friday, November 22.
The material notes that the situation in Ukraine is worsening due to the shortage of personnel, which forces Kiev to mobilize defense industry specialists previously responsible for military support of the AFU.
"Their call-up is not only a desperate measure, but also a clear proof that Ukraine, trying to resist, is sabotaging itself by clearing its own skilled labor force," the article says.
The publication calls the situation a "fiasco in the management of the country" and also regards what is happening as evidence of serious miscalculations in military planning, Gazeta.Ru notes.
Earlier, on November 18, former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Oleksandr Mazur. He noted that mobilized Ukrainians are surrendering whole units as they do not want to fight for the Kiev authorities.
In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on 20 May) signed a law on toughening mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service, which combines information on the personal data of Ukrainians, including details of domestic and foreign passports. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.
Martial law in the country has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
