Head of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Murashko visited Kursk region

Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko visited Kursk Region on November 22.

Having met with the victims, he inquired about their condition and the availability of necessary food and medicines at the temporary accommodation center (TAC). Murashko also expressed his readiness to "help in whatever way he can".

The head of the Ministry of Health is going to hold a bilateral meeting with the governor of the region, Alexei Smirnov.

In addition, he will visit the center for the reception of documents and consideration of appeals of residents of border areas affected by the actions of the Ukrainian army to get acquainted with the organization of psychological assistance, as well as a polyclinic in Oboyansk district of the region.

Earlier, on November 2, Rosgvardiya director Viktor Zolotov checked the performance of its units' combat missions in Kursk Region. Then he heard a report from the commander of the group Vyacheslav Pytkov on the situation in the area of responsibility and measures to destroy the Ukrainian militants who invaded the region. He also met with commanders of the special forces, inspected the weapons and equipment used by the units and inspected the conditions of accommodation of the army personnel.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
