Head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) Denis Pushilin visited the settlement of Kurakhovka on November 22.

"I can say that we are in Kurakhovka today. It is very consonant. Unfortunately, not yet in Kurakhovo, but it is all very close. Exactly this direction," he said in a video published in the Telegram channel.

Pushilin also noted the courage and heroism of the Russian army and emphasized the importance of the events taking place in the world. In addition, he mentioned yesterday's statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Oreshnik missile.

Putin said on November 21 that Ukraine had used Western long-range weapons against the Russian state. According to him, the regional conflict has acquired elements of a global character. He also said the Russian state had tested the Oreshnik missile in response to NATO's aggressive actions.

On November 19, the Russian military shot down five ATACMS missiles launched by the AFU in the Bryansk region and damaged another one. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called it a signal that the West wants to escalate the conflict.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian president on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
