Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov has said that the plans of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) for 2025 have been disrupted. He said this on Friday, November 22, at a meeting at the command control center of the "North" troop grouping.

"The combat work that we have done here now - grinded their best units - and the fact that the advance has now accelerated. We have essentially disrupted their entire 2025 campaign," the minister said.

Belousov was briefed on the progress of combat operations, the use of aviation, artillery and drones, as well as demonstrated the types of weapons used by the enemy: drones, communications equipment and small arms produced by NATO countries.

The head of the Defense Ministry also visited the training range of the "North" group of troops, checking the combat training of servicemen and presenting state awards to the military.

On the eve of the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the AFU lost more than 150 soldiers in the Kursk direction. It was noted that units of the "North" group of troops defeated the enemy in the areas of Alekseevka, Viktorovka, Daryino, Lebedevka, Leonidovka, Malaya Loknya, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka and Sverdlikovo.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
