More than 3 thousand operations were performed in hybrid operation centers in Moscow. This was reported by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on November 22.

"Today, four flagship centers are operating in the city, the creation of two more is being completed. Abdominal and cardiovascular surgeons, endoscopists, traumatologists, specialists in radiation diagnostics and other doctors can work simultaneously in [the centers]. As a result, it is not necessary to immerse the patient in anesthesia several times and perform separate operations," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Sobyanin pointed out that such centers were created for patients who arrive with complex and combined pathologies. According to the mayor, 80% of the centers' patients need emergency care.

"In the N.V. Sklifosovsky SP Research Institute, for example, there is a unique neurosurgical hybrid operating room. Here with the help of MRI modality technology and neuronavigation doctors in real time with the highest accuracy evaluate the results of performed manipulations," - said the mayor.

Earlier, on November 15, Sobyanin told about a twofold increase in the number of rescued heart attack patients. If in 2010 from the moment of arrival of the brigade to the call to the emergency operation in the hospital could take several hours, now it takes on average no more than 40 minutes.
