Miroshnik pointed to US Democrats' discontent over Trump's peace initiatives

The Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, said on 22 November that the US Democratic Party in the administration in the White House was sabotaging the peace initiatives of American President Donald Trump, who won the election.
According to him, American Democrats are set to continue the conflict in Ukraine, including the decision to strike deep into Russia. At the same time, Trump, on the contrary, is ready to solve the economic interests of the country.
"We now see that there is a track of Democrats on the continuation of bloodshed and there is a track of Trump, who wants to solve his economic and other interests, who is playing Make America Great Again.... So in that sense, the statements or trends that Trump is voicing today are not to the Democrats' liking. And this statement related to the possibility of authorizing the use of long-range weapons, this is a play on the information field, in which they want to just put a new track on which to think about options for possible peaceful regulation of the conflict. And this does not like the Democrats, so this is one of the steps towards the escalation of disruption, just any contacts," - quotes his words "RIA Novosti".
Earlier, on November 21, Trump campaign spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said that Trump plans to restore world peace with the help of US power. She added that once Trump returns to the White House, he will immediately take all necessary actions to fulfill this.
Prior to that, on Nov. 14, Trump promised to "work very hard" to end the conflict in Ukraine. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia would wait for proposals to this effect and was ready to consider them.
On November 12, former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi said that Trump's goal is to prevent World War III. She noted that all diplomatic measures should be tried before sending the US Armed Forces to hot spots, and this is one of the reasons why many Americans voted for Trump.
In addition, on Nov. 5, Trump called his campaign a fight against the "evil democratic system."
The election for the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. In the popular vote, Trump received 51% of the vote and Harris received 47.4%. The voting results were met with prolonged applause at Trump's campaign headquarters. The politician himself later called himself the 47th president of the United States. Speaking to supporters, the Republican said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world.
