The majority of Russians consider the distance from home to work to be important, this conclusion was reached by analysts of "Yandex Real Estate" and hh.ru, who analyzed the labor market of the largest cities in Russia.
Thus, 44% of Russians would like to spend on the road to work no more than half an hour, 42% - no more than an hour, 8% - no more than an hour and a half and only 6% are ready to get to work two hours. At the same time, 27% would like to buy their own home near the office, and 19% would like to rent an apartment.
At the same time, according to the data as of November this year, the majority of vacancies in million-strong cities are presented in the central districts.
Thus, in Moscow, the largest share of job offers falls on the Tverskaya district (CAO) - 6% of all vacant positions in the capital's market. In the second place by the number of vacancies in the city - Presnensky district (CAO), where the share of open positions is 5.4% of the total number of job offers in the city. The third place is occupied by another central district of Moscow - Basmanny. In this location in the companies are represented 4.5% of vacancies from all actual positions for job seekers. Next come Danilovsky district - 3.7% and Zamoskvorechye - 2.6%.

In St. Petersburg in November 2024, the largest share of vacancies is presented in the Central District - 12% of all offers for job seekers in the city. The cost of a square meter in the primary market in this location is 487 thousand rubles, in the secondary market - 289 thousand rubles. The cost of long-term rent is 76 thousand rubles per month.
The second place in the rating of locations with the maximum number of workplaces in St. Petersburg is occupied by Moskovsky district - 10.6%. The median cost of a square meter on the primary market here is Br326 thousand, on the secondary market - Br235 thousand.
The cost of long-term rent in Moskovsky district is 48 thousand rubles per month. Primorsky district is the third in terms of the share of job offers, which accounts for 10% of all vacancies in the Northern Capital. The median cost of a square meter in the primary market here is Br276 thousand, in the secondary market - Br224 thousand. The cost of long-term rent in Moskovsky district is Br51 thousand per month.
In Krasnoyarsk the most job offers can be found in Sovetsky district. In this location is almost a third (32%) of all vacancies in the city. The cost of a square meter in a new building here will be from 90 thousand to 270 thousand rubles, in the secondary market - from 59 thousand to 232 thousand rubles. And long-term rent in Sovetsky district of the city will cost from Br18 thousand to Br80 thousand per month.
In Nizhny Novgorod, the most job offers are presented in Nizhny Novgorod district. This location accounts for 28% of all vacancies in the city. The cost of a square meter in new buildings starts from 127 thousand and reaches up to 400 thousand rubles. In the secondary market the cost of a "square meter" is in the range from 52 thousand to 375 thousand rubles. And those who are considering rental housing near the office, can focus on a budget of 30 thousand to 150 thousand rubles per month.
In Kazan on the share of job offers is leading Vakhitovsky district, where 27% of all vacancies in companies in the city.
