The whole world sees this," he wrote in his Telegram channel, commenting on the White House press secretary's statement that the Russian missile launch would not affect the country's policy toward Ukraine.

Pushkov also drew attention to Trump's surprising silence.

"Is he sure that he will not inherit such a situation from Biden, when he will become not a person who determines the course of events, but just a hostage of a hopeless confrontation?" - the senator summarized.
