- The head of the LNR called Russia's strike on Ukraine's "Oreshnik" defense industry the response of a strong country

Russia's strike by the Oreshnik ballistic missile against the Ukrainian defense industry is the response of an independent and strong country to the constant attacks of the enemy and to the aggression against peaceful Russian towns and villages. The head of the Lugansk People's Republic (LNR) Leonid Pasechnik said on November 21.
"This is an adequate and clear response of an independent and strong country to the constant attacks of the enemy, to the aggression against peaceful Russian cities and villages. There is no doubt that we will be able to defend our state and the people who live in it. No one will be able to intimidate Russia!" - he wrote in his Telegram channel, noting that he supports Russian President Vladimir Putin 's decision in response to the use of Western long-range weapons on Russian territory.
Pasechnik added that Russia will continue to fulfill the tasks of the special military operation (SMO) in any development of events.
"And we will definitely win, because the truth is behind us," the LNR head said.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that there are no means of countering Russian Oreshnik missiles in the world now. He noted that the missile is capable of attacking targets at speeds up to 2-3 km / s and existing air defense systems can not intercept it.
Later, footage of the Russian Armed Forces striking the Yuzhmash plant in Dnipropetrovsk with the Oreshnik missile was published. The footage shows parts of the missile hitting the objects, followed by bright flashes.
In turn, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) Denis Pushilin called the launch of IRBM "Oreshnik" an adequate response to aggression against the Russian Federation. He also emphasized that Oreshnik will remind "all those who have forgotten about it" that Russia cannot be defeated.
The special operation to defend Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
