Attempted murder case opened after shooting in shopping center in the Urals

A criminal case of attempted murder has been opened after a shooting in one of the shopping centers of Kamensk-Uralsky in the Sverdlovsk region. This was reported in the regional head of the Investigative Committee (IC) in Telegram-channel on November 21.

"A criminal case has been initiated against a local resident on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of article 30, part. 1 article 105 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder")", - stated in the message.

According to investigators, the suspect in the course of a conflict with another man stabbed him several times in the area of hands and torso, after which in response the victim shot several times from a traumatic weapon. Both victims were hospitalized.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

The shooting in the shopping center in the Urals was reported earlierin the day. It was specified that one of the men had a knife wound, the second - a gunshot wound.
