The Ministry of Economic Development assessed the effect of the rating system for business

The tools of the new rating system will allow small and medium-sized businesses without third-party contractors to conduct self-diagnostics - to track the dynamics of their development, assess their potential and compare themselves with competitors, using a unified system of in-depth analytics. This was reported to "Izvestia" on November 21 in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

"The new rating system is not a tool for assessing businesses to obtain certain privileges for participation in credit programs, including those subsidized by the state. However, the results of the rating will become a point of obtaining a comprehensive analysis of their business on the pace of development on the scale of the region and the whole country", - emphasized there.

The Ministry specified that the rating-system "Index of business" started its work on November 15. Small and medium-sized companies from almost all spheres of activity can take part. After submitting an application, the entrepreneur will get access to the first package of tools for his business and will be able to use it until the end of the rating, even if he does not pass the scoring stage. The results of the rating will be known on March 31. Leaders will receive "quality marks" - special marks that can be used both on business objects and online resources.

Earlier, on September 6, Mikhail Belyaev, PhD in Economics, financial analyst, told Izvestia that the introduction of public evaluation of business in Russia will be useful. At the same time, he expressed the opinion that such an evaluation scale should be clear, precise and not overloaded.
