Soldiers of the "Zapad" group of troops have destroyed an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Serebryansky Forestry with the help of a D-30 howitzer. The Izvestia correspondent showed footage of the military's combat work on November 21.

The objective control recording shows how the Ukrainian warehouse was hit by the first shell.

"It is possible even without correction with one shot to hit a point. And so two or three shells exactly on target," said the commander of the gun with the call sign Kutush.

Military groups on foot move through the forest at a distance of 50 meters from each other: there are too many open areas due to regular enemy shelling.

"A few rolls of logs, Rabica netting, and there are even Christmas tree branches - this is the kind of "house" the artillerymen hid their gun in. In order for the cannon to fire, it does not even need to move out - just raise the barrel and strike", - reports the military correspondent.

During the offensive in Terny and near Serebryanka, the D-30s have their peak days. Thus, one gun can fire more than 30 shells per day.

Earlier in the day, the Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of a mortar crew of one of the AFU units by the operator of the FPV-drone of the group of troops "North" in Kharkiv region. The decision to fire was made after the exact coordinates of the enemy's location were determined and confirmed.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
