Yevgeny Ponarin, a Kursk teacher and participant of the SWO, was involved in a road accident

In Kursk region there was a road accident in which a teacher - participant of the special military operation (SMO) Yevgeny Ponarin was injured. This was reported on November 21 by the source of "Izvestiya".

According to the interlocutor, the accident involved two cars. Ponarin received severe combined and closed craniocerebral injuries. In addition, the victim has a fracture of the bones of the facial skeleton and a closed chest injury. His condition is assessed as serious.

Evgeny Ponarin is a physical education teacher at the G.A. Karmanov boarding school No. 2 in the city of Kursk. In 2022, he went to the NWO zone, where he stayed until April 2023. Upon his return, he began teaching at his native school. In early October of this year, on the eve of Teacher's Day, he received a commendation from the Russian government.

Earlier in the day, four people were injured in an accident involving a passenger bus in Surgut, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District. At the scene of the accident worked employees of JSC "SPOPAT", ensuring road safety, to clarify the circumstances and assist traffic police officers, noted in the administration of Surgut.
