Blinovskaya's lawyer said that the blogger's accountant is trying to avoid responsibility

The accountant, being a witness in the case of Elena Blinovskaia, is trying to avoid responsibility. This was stated on November 21 by the lawyer of the "queen of marathons" Natalia Salnikova.

Earlier in the day in the Savelovsky district court held another session on the case of the blogger, reports the correspondent of "Izvestia".

"You have all heard that the witness is clearly evading his own responsibility, being in fact the chief accountant and referring to the fact that he carried out some kind of operational activities," - said Salnikova told reporters after the meeting.

The lawyer emphasized that during the hearing "other names were called all the time, and it was not Blinovskaya's surname," the blogger appears only indirectly.

"This is of fundamental importance, because the court in sentencing must assess what is the role of a person, how much he participated in the commission of this or that crime. It seems to me that the witness is somewhat sly. The witness confirmed in fact that Elena's role is not very high in everything that happened," she added.

During the hearing, the witness in the case stated that the number of legal entities, for which she was in charge of accounting, was increasing day by day. The appearance of a new legal entity was reported, including personally Blinovskie, and reports on cash flow blogger's husband Alexei requested more than once a month, the witness added.

Earlier, on November 13, Blinovskaya was declared bankrupt. The judge ruled to introduce a process of property realization against the blogger.

On November 7, the blogger's assistant, who is the CEO of one of the LLCs related to the "queen of marathons", was questioned. The woman stated that she had not concluded any contracts with the blogger, maintained exclusively working relations with her and took all her courses at her own request.

The Federal Tax Service reported on October 17 that Blinovskaya divided her income into 21 legal entities, these were legal organizations and individual entrepreneurs. The blogger's VAT arrears eventually exceeded 733 million rubles.

Before that, on October 7, it was reported that Blinovskaya tried to sell her property to pay her debts. On October 2, Blinovskaya's lawyers closed her debt to the tax authorities on personal income tax in the amount of over 320 million rubles. The blogger's lawyer Salnikova declared the innocence of her client. The defense believes that the content of negotiations and correspondence of Blinovskaya, disclosed during the trial, proves her non-involvement in the crimes.

On August 30, the blogger partially pleaded guilty to tax evasion. The same day Savelovsky court authorized her to sell an apartment worth 90 million rubles to repay part of the tax debt. On August 19, it became known that Blinovskaya filed for bankruptcy in order to be able to sell her property to pay off her tax debt.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation completed the investigation against Blinovskaya on July 25. According to the investigation, the blogger, with the complicity of her spouse Alexei, failed to pay taxes, and then legalized 716 million rubles. In April 2023, blogger Blinovskaya was detained on suspicion of fraud for non-payment of taxes. She was under house arrest for about a year.
