The organizing committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025 met in Moscow

A meeting of the organizing committee was held in Moscow under the chairmanship of Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

"The Forum covers all major spheres, including technology, education, logistics, trade, investment and finance. The participation of international associations such as BRICS, SCO and EAEU in SPIEF is of particular importance. Their presence allows building effective interaction with partners, deepening economic cooperation and forming joint strategies aimed at overcoming global challenges and achieving sustainable development," said Maxim Oreshkin.

Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the Forum Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov stressed during the meeting: "Active work is already underway to promote SPIEF-2025, including traveling sessions in India, the UAE, Malaysia, the Kingdom of Thailand and Africa. The Forum remains one of the leading international platforms for discussing sustainable development, digitalization and global cooperation."

He also noted that the SME International Cooperation Day, dedicated to the development of interaction between Russian and foreign partners, attracts great interest from the international audience, including representatives of China, India and Arab states.

"An integral part of the program will be the annual International Youth Forum, which is held under the motto "Day of the Future". This event reflects the strategic priorities of Russia's development in the coming years: shaping the future of the country and society through supporting the activities of young scientists, specialists and entrepreneurs," said Anton Kobyakov.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has been instructed to simplify the procedure for obtaining Russian visas for the forum participants, as well as to facilitate the involvement of officials and representatives of business circles of foreign countries.

The SPIEF-2025 will also include a cultural festival "St. Petersburg Seasons", organized jointly with the administration of St. Petersburg and the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held in St. Petersburg from June 18 to 21, 2025.

The event will be operated by the Roscongress Foundation.
