Lyuberets resident accused of murdering his five-month-old daughter remanded in custody

The court arrested a resident of Lyubertsy, Moscow Region, who beat his five-month-old daughter to death because of crying. This was reported on November 21 in the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee (ICS) of the Russian Federation in the Moscow region.

"Today at the request of the investigation the court in respect of the defendant elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention," - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that the man fully admitted his guilt during the interrogation and told about the circumstances of the incident.

He is charged under paragraph "c" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor or other person known to the perpetrator to be in a helpless state, as well as coupled with the abduction of a person").

The incident became known the day before. According to the source of "Izvestiya", the child's body was found with multiple injuries to the head and hands. The Investigative Committee of the Moscow region specified that the reason for the father's aggressive behavior was the child's long crying.
