Zulfiya Kakhrumanova was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia

Director of the Information Technology Department of the Bank of Russia Zulfiya Kakhrumanova was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia on November 21.

It is specified that she is appointed from December 2 this year.

"In this position, she will supervise the work of the Department of Information Technology, the Department of Financial Technologies, as well as the operational department," - stated in a publication on the website of the Central Bank.

Prior to this on the website of the Central Bank of Russia reported that from December 2, 2024 Olga Skorobogatova will leave the post of first Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia. It is specified that she decided to continue her career outside the regulator.

Chairman of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina noted that Skorobogatova "set the impetus" for the development of financial and payment technologies for years to come.

Earlier, on October 31, Ksenia Yudaeva left the post of Advisor to the Chairman of the Bank of Russia. The regulator noted that she decided to continue her career outside the Bank of Russia.
