In the Irkutsk region, hunters shot a woman who stopped on the side of the road to smoke. This was reported by the source of "Izvestiya" on November 21.

It is specified that the incident occurred on November 20, 30 km from Nizhneudinsk. The woman together with her acquaintance was driving along the highway in a passenger car, they decided to stop on the side of the road and rest. When the Russian woman got out, a shot rang out. The victim died of her injuries at the scene.

After the incident, a UAZ car drove out of the forest and fled. Traffic police officers stopped the vehicle at the entrance to Nizhneudinsk, in the cabin of which there were three people.

According to one of the defendants, they were in the forest, where they were engaged in illegal hunting. The man saw the woman in the thermal imager and mistook her for a beast, after which he shot twice. At the moment, law enforcement authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.

November 16, in Priangarie a man was shot during hunting, a criminal case was initiated. The incident occurred in the Olkhonsky district during a paddock hunt. It was preliminarily established that one of the hunters shot, believing that he was shooting at a beast, but hit the correr. The 62-year-old man died as a result of the wound.
