Putin honored Russian mothers and families with state awards


Russian President Vladimir Putin has honored mothers of many children and families from six Russian regions with state awards. This is reported in a decree published on the official Internet portal of legal information on November 21.
"For great merits in strengthening the institution of the family and upbringing of children to award the title "Heroine Mother" Gylka Oksana Sergeevna (Voronezh region), Klimova Lyudmila Leonidovna (Kurgan region), Reshitova Larisa Vitalievna (Omsk region), Sinibabnova Zoya Vasilyevna (Voronezh region)", - stated in the document.
The President also awarded the Order of "Parental Glory" to the family of Vadim and Natalia Chavdar from the Leningrad region. Families from Chuvashia, Kursk and Voronezh regions were honored with the medal of the order.
Earlier, on September 19, it was reported that Putin awarded the title "Heroine Mother" to mothers with many children from 12 subjects of the country. In addition, by decree of the head of state, the order "Parents' Glory" was awarded to the Shevchenko family from the Omsk region, as well as the Kistol family from the Sverdlovsk region.
The Russian leader announced the launch of a new national project "Family" during his address to the Federal Assembly on February 29. Within the framework of the national project it is planned to allocate at least 75 billion rubles until 2030 to the regions where the birth rate is below the national average. These are 39 subjects of the federation.
