Sevastopol governor reported about the shot down missile "Neptune" AFU

Air defense forces have shot down a Neptune anti-ship missile of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the sky above the Black Sea area in Sevastopol. This was reported by the city's governor Mikhail Razvozhayev on November 21.

"In Sevastopol, the military reflects the attack of the AFU, air defense works. According to preliminary information, already shot down one anti-ship missile "Neptune" over the water area at a considerable distance from the coast," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

According to the governor, all Sevastopol services are on alert. He urged citizens to remain calm, as well as to observe safety measures.

On the same day, air defense means intercepted and destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the territories of Rostov and Volgograd regions.

Before that, on November 20, the administration of Melitopol reported the destruction of a Ukrainian UAV over the city. It is specified that because of the attack there was a short-term short circuit of electricity, on the site are working operational services.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
