American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Greg Hardy promised Russian boxer Alexei Papin during their fight on the gala show "REN TV Fight Club. Superseries" to "have fun" and show "how champions fight." This he stated to Izvestia on November 21.

"I will come to Russia, I will come to your city. And we'll see what you guys are talking about, we'll see what you guys are really learning there, and I'll show you a couple things, how champions do it," the athlete said.
