Famous LED bears will be returned to the Urals cities

The cities of the Urals Federal District, Tyumen, Tobolsk and Kurgan, will once again install families of LED polar bears. In Tyumen the bears will be seen in the Zarechny District, in Tobolsk - in new neighborhoods, and in Kurgan - on Khimmashevskaya Street.

The SUEENCO power company told Ura.ru news agency that this year the routes of the bears will be changed in all cities. Thus, Papa Misha and Matilda Potapovna with little children Umka, Plombir and Toptyzhka will drive through the streets of Tyumen on November 27. And on November 29, they will "gather guests" to turn on the New Year's illumination.

In Tobolsk, the bears will go through the streets on December 3. Mama Shishka, cubs Moroshka, Tuchka and Sonyka will wait for guests at the Kremlin on December 4. In Kurgan, the polar bear family will "leave the den" on December 5 and will traditionally stop at Troitskaya Square. The festive event is scheduled for December 6.

The agency points out that the glowing bears were celebrated at the international level. The multi-meter installation became the winner of 2021 in the nomination "The best project for improvement and creation of comfortable urban environment" in the competition "National Association of Surveyors and Designers".

For more than two months of the bears' presence in the cities of the Urals, thousands of selfies appeared on social networks. Residents of the cities were waiting for the return of the installation.

Earlier it was reported that in the Moscow region on December 1 starts the program "Winter in the Moscow region". This season is planned more than 5 thousand events. According to the Minister of culture and tourism of the region Vasily Kuznetsov, three major exhibition projects are expected. It is planned that the tourist flow to the region this year will be 5 million people - 200 thousand more than in 2024. Several regional projects with the participation of Olympic champions are planned.
