Kurgan school closed for quarantine due to pneumonia

School No. 1 in Kataysky District of Kurgan Region was closed for quarantine. The students were transferred to distance learning because of pneumonia.

According to the head of the district, Gleb Morozov , whose words are quoted by the Ura.ru news agency, more than 10 students at this school have fallen ill with out-of-hospital pneumonia. In other educational institutions individual cases of the disease are also registered.

The head of the district asked parents to closely monitor the health of their children. He noted that pneumonia can be latent and have symptoms of acute respiratory infections. It is necessary to go to the doctor at any signs of illness.

Earlier in Pskov in schools and institutions of additional education it was decided to prolong the "distancing" to which children were sent because of the large number of cases of out-of-hospital pneumonia in some city educational institutions.
