The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation Alexander Bastrykin has requested a report on the progress of the inspection organized in connection with the beating of a boy at a school in St. Petersburg. The inspection is being conducted on the grounds of a crime under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "negligence".

TV channel "78" reports that the fifth-grader was severely beaten by a ninth-grade student. The aggressive teenager hit the 11-year-old boy on the stomach and began to strangle him. The fifth-grader was diagnosed with a bruised abdomen.

According to some reports, the high school student often beats those younger than him. But the employees of the educational institution do not take any measures.

Earlier it was reported that in the Transbaikal Territory, the Prosecutor's office began an inspection after the appearance of information that in the local school beat pupils. According to preliminary data, one of the schoolgirls attacked her peers. In the near future the school will hold a parental meeting. The district prosecutor is going to attend it.
