In St. Petersburg, the lower ramp of the Lieutenant Schmidt embankment was flooded. In addition, due to the cyclone that came from the south and the strengthening of the east wind, the water in the Gulf of Finland was dislodged.

Alexander Kolesov, the city's chief forecaster, said in his Telegram channel that there was no wind in the city, but the water level was rising. This does not happen very often in St. Petersburg.

He advised the residents of the city and its guests to stock up their cameras to capture the unusual phenomenon. In the near future, the water level will begin to fall, specifies TV channel "78".

Forecasters advised Muscovites and residents of the region in the coming weekend to prepare for cloudy weather with periodic rains, which, although they will be small, will create a feeling of dampness and coolness. Especially it will be felt in the morning and evening, when the temperature will fluctuate about +1...+4.
