A town in Iceland has been evacuated due to a volcanic eruption

In Iceland because of the volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula were completely evacuated the city of Grindavik and the resort "Blue Lagoon". This is reported on Thursday, November 21, television company RUV.
It is specified that in the city was also severed power line, which caused a power outage.
RUV reports that the peak of the eruption was reached last night and since then the rate of lava flow is going down. It is also noted that there was no large ash emission in the sky, so the situation has not affected air travel in the country.
A volcanic eruption in the Sundnukur crater row on the Reykjanes Peninsula became known earlier in the day. It began south of Story-Skogfell. It was noted that it is not yet possible to determine the strength and scale of the eruption.
