Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. In addition, Russian air defenses destroyed two British Storm Shadow cruise missiles, six American HIMARS rockets and 67 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

In total, 648 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 36,467 drones, 586 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19,420 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,490 multiple rocket launchers, 18,318 field artillery and mortar guns, 28,573 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
