In Khabarovsk region, a man died in the taiga after a tiger attacked him. The investigative department of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Khabarovsk Krai and the Jewish Autonomous District (EAD) has started a procedural check on this fact, the agency reports on November 21.
It is noted that the tragedy occurred on November 20.
"In the taiga in the Lazo district of Khabarovsk Krai, a tiger attacked a man and caused him bodily harm, as a result of which the latter died," - stated in the Telegram-channel of the Department.
During the inspection will be organized investigative actions to establish the circumstances of what happened. It is planned to conduct expert examinations.
Earlier, September 8, it was reported that a sheepdog named Irbis saved his master from four bears in Kamchatka. As told "Izvestia" spouse of the victim Tatyana, her husband was walking the dog at the time of the incident. While walking in the evening of September 5, he saw four bears behind his back. The Irbis reacted instantly and began to lead the bears away from the owner, which gave the man time to hide behind a neighboring house.
