The Heavenly Grace Cup rhythmic gymnastics tournament takes place in Qatar

Qatar hosts the Heavenly Grace Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament, in which Russian athletes take part.

At the competition 14 sets of medals between athletes from 25 countries of the world will be played. More than 100 gymnasts will perform personal programs. Group exercises of six teams will also be presented.

Many of the competitors, including those from Russia, Philippines, Cuba, Guatemala, Venezuela and Kyrgyzstan, trained at the Alina Kabaeva Academy in Sochi, where the Olympic champion personally worked with them on program elements.

Young gymnasts from Belgorod and Kursk became guests of the international tournament in Qatar thanks to the invitation of the International Association of Clubs "Heavenly Grace", which paid all the expenses for the trip and the best seats in the stands.

"Of course, our girls are thrilled. They are getting ready, they are worried about our sportswomen, they are drawing posters, making up shout-outs. It will be very interesting to see what new exercises there will be, what music there will be, what swimsuits there will be. Of course, we will then use something on our children, try and learn", - said Veronika Bobrysheva, coach-teacher in rhythmic gymnastics of the school "Karting" of Kursk.

The competition will be held until November 22 and will end with a gala concert, where Russian athletes and artists will perform.

Earlier, November 5, it was reported that in Hungary at the rhythmic gymnastics tournament athletes of the association "Heavenly Grace" won 37 medals, 14 of which - gold. It was noted that the club tournament "Golden Autumn" was held in Budapest. It was attended by 169 gymnasts from nine countries.
