Weather forecaster warned Muscovites about snowstorms on November 21

On Thursday, November 21, in Central Russia, including Moscow, the first snowstorm is forecasted, wind gusts may reach 20 m/s. This was reported on November 21 by the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.

"On Thursday evening, the first snowstorm is forecast, it will snow with gusty winds of 20 m/s," he told TASS, specifying that the temperature will remain positive, but Muscovites will not find this weather warm, because the wind speed will increase.

According to the forecaster, on the night of Friday, November 22, precipitation will gradually stop, the temperature will be from 0 to -4 degrees.

"A relatively calm day on Friday, but on Saturday another cyclone is approaching Moscow again, it will bring snow, rain, sticking wet snow on wires, ice," - said Vilfand.

He added that more than half of the norm of precipitation will fall.

Earlier in the day, the scientific head of the Hydrometeorological Center said that in the south of Russia is predicted a sharp change in the weather and a drop in temperature by 10-15 degrees from Sunday. He also specified that on Sunday it is expected from +1 to +3 degrees in the daytime, from 0 to -3 degrees at night.
