Electronic currency bitcoin has jumped in price and set a new record value, exceeding $ 97 thousand, as evidenced by electronic trading indicators of the largest cryptocurrency trading exchange Binance on November 21.

According to the portal CoinMarketCap, which calculates the average price by comparing data on more than 20 exchanges, the cost of cryptocurrency over the day grew by 2.84% - on average to $97,485.8.

BitRiver financial analyst Vladislav Antonov told Izvestia on November 20 that bitcoin continues to show impressive growth. In his opinion, reaching the $100 thousand mark by the end of 2024 looks quite realistic. He noted that the current growth of the cryptocurrency is due to several key factors, such as the activation of the institutional sector.

On November 11, Capital Lab partner Evgeny Shatov also suggested in a conversation with "Izvestia" that by the end of this year, the value of bitcoin may reach $100 thousand. He added that the rate will grow if Trump continues to declare support for cryptocurrencies and specific actions in this direction.
