Zakharova called Zelensky's "resilience plan" a set of morbid fantasies

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy 's "steadfastness plan" (his term expired on May 20) is another set of morbid fantasies. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing on November 21.

"Few people understand what we are talking about, but everyone understands one thing - that this is another set of painful fantasies in order to ensure self-preservation of power of Zelensky who has lost legitimacy," she said.

Zakharova noted that in response to challenges and problems, the Ukrainian leader is ready to "further tighten the screws" on the territory of the state.

The head of the Kiev regime presented a "resilience plan" in the Verkhovna Rada on November 19. The plan envisages steps to be taken by Ukraine itself. This is how it differs from the "victory plan", which was a set of requirements for Western partners.

Zelenskyy specified that the so-called resilience plan would include measures in the field of security, energy and weapons, as well as the issues of weapons production on the territory of Ukraine, its cooperation with partners and the creation of a safe space for citizens.

The day before, on November 20, an opposition-minded member of the Verkhovna Rada said that the "resilience plan" would lead Ukraine to repressions. He also called the plan empty and said that the repressions would affect "everyone Zelensky points at".

In a conversation with Izvestiya on 19 November, military expert Ihor Nikulin called the "resilience plan" an attempt to draw NATO into the conflict. He also noted that there is "nothing new" in this plan.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the backdrop of the aggravated situation in the region.
