- High-voltage line "Dneprovskaya" was switched off at ZNPP by the action of automatics

One of the two high-voltage power supply lines of Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) - 750kV "Dniprovska" - is disconnected by the action of automation. This is reported on November 21 by the press service of the plant.
"Own needs of the NPP are powered from the 330 kV line "Ferrosplavnaya-1". No violations of safety limits and conditions have not been recorded," - stated in the Telegram-channel ZNPP.
It is noted that the staff of Zaporizhzhya NPP is ready to respond. Radiation background for all indicators at the plant and the surrounding area corresponds to the normal operation of power units, not exceeding natural values.
The press service of the energy facility reminded that now all ZNPP units are shut down and are in the state of "cold shutdown".
Earlier, on November 20, the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi said that the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant (ZNPP) remains unstable situation, which requires to exclude threats to nuclear safety. According to Grossi, all six reactors at the plant are still in cold shutdown mode. The agency continues to insist that none of them should be restarted as long as threats to the nuclear and physical safety of the ZNPP remain.
Prior to that, on November 18, the governor of Zaporizhzhya Region, Yevgeny Balitsky, told a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin that all necessary measures were being taken to protect ZNPP and that the facility's security was at a high level. According to him, the deployment of a regiment of radiation, chemical and biological defense troops guarantees control over the nuclear threat.
Zaporizhzhya Region, where the nuclear power plant is located, became part of the Russian Federation following a referendum in September 2022, since then Zaporizhzhya NPP has been under constant IAEA control.
