On Thursday, November 21, a press conference dedicated to the completion of the SIRIUS-23 experiment is being held at the Izvestia Media Center.

The main scientific results of the year-long experiment, life in isolation and plans for further research will be discussed:

- Sergey Ponomarev, executive director, deputy chairman of the working program committee of the SIRIUS project, head of the Laboratory of Physiology of the Immune System of the IMBP RAS, Ph;

- test crew: commander Yuri Chebotarev (Russia), flight engineer Angelika Parfenova (Russia), doctor Ksenia Orlova (Russia), researchers Olga Mastitskaya (Belarus), Ksenia Shishenina (Russia) and Rustam Zaripov (Russia).

SIRIUS-23 is an experiment that simulates a long-duration mission to the Moon. Six testers spent a year in isolation in an enclosed module. The project took place at the Medical and Technical Ground Experimental Complex of the Institute of Medical and Biological Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
