Two young people were detained in the Moscow region for setting fire to a railroad motor train. About it on Thursday, November 21, reported in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

"To implement the intended buddies born in 2005 and 2006 poured gasoline from an unidentified car and at night arrived at the 34th km of the sixth picket of Bykovo station. There, the accomplices broke the window of the cabin of the self-propelled rail vehicle, poured the stolen flammable liquid into it, set it on fire and fled," - stated in the Telegram-channel "MIA Media".

Both suspects were promptly detained by police officers and the FSB. It turned out that the young men were following the instructions of an unknown person who contacted them in messenger and promised to pay 120 thousand rubles. To confirm the fact of arson, they recorded a video report.

A criminal case has been opened under paragraphs "a" and "c" of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("A terrorist act committed by a group of persons, with significant damage"). The defendants may be arrested as a preventive measure.

Earlier, November 14, a 22-year-old girl was detained in Lipetsk region, who unsuccessfully tried to set fire to the police and district administration buildings in Nizhny Novgorod, and then escaped. The suspect was on a mission of fraudsters who convinced her that she could "repay" loans allegedly taken in her name in this way.
