Krasnov laid flowers at the "Ode to Fortitude" memorial in Uzbekistan

Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov laid flowers at the Ode to Fortitude memorial at the Victory Park complex in Tashkent on November 21 during the second day of his working visit to Uzbekistan.
The ceremony took place under the musical accompaniment of a military band and in the presence of a guard of honor.
"Ode to Fortitude" is a memorial established in honor of all mothers and women who were deprived of their children, husbands and loved ones by the war.
Its prototype was Zulfiya Zakirova, who, widowed, alone brought up five brave sons who considered the defense of the Motherland and her people a matter of honor. All of them went to the front - Isokjon, Ahmadjon, Mamajon, Vakhobjon and Yusufjon. None of them returned. All her four daughters-in-law were widowed.
Krasnov arrived in Tashkent the previous day to discuss with his Uzbek counterpart, Nigmatilla Yuldashev, key issues related to cooperation between the two countries' agencies. The heads of the agencies will also share their views on developing new common solutions to improve mechanisms for protecting citizens' rights and fighting crime.
