Head of the Investigative Committee of Russia Bastrykin demanded to report on the investigation into the circumstances of the poisoning of schoolchildren in Krasnoyarsk region. This was reported in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on November 21.

"Chairman of the IC of Russia Bastrykin instructed the head of the GSU of the IC of Russia for Krasnoyarsk region and the Republic of Khakassia Eremin to submit a report on the progress of the investigation of the criminal case and the established circumstances", - specified in the Telegram-channel of the body.

The mass poisoning of schoolchildren in Krasnoyarsk became known on November 20. According to investigators, 23 students from the first to 11th grades went to hospitals with signs of intestinal infection on November 19. Later their number increased to 25. The preliminary diagnosis is rotavirus infection. It is established that the day before the children had eaten in the school canteen.

On this fact, the investigative authorities of the region initiated a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.

Earlier, on November 18, children in Moscow school №1512 got poisoned after drinking water from the cooler. A criminal case was initiated. The director of the institution stated that the children were diagnosed with intestinal infection, Rospotrebnadzor suspended the school. The agency reported that the students were found to have RNA norovirus type 2, 30 people from 12 classes applied for help. On the same day, PCR examination of water from sealed bottles at the school showed that there were no viruses in it.
