Temporary restrictions on the work of Volgograd airport were introduced for security reasons. This was reported in Rosaviatsia on November 21.

"To ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights from 05:45 Moscow time on November 21, temporary restrictions have been imposed on the operation of Volgograd airport," Rosaviatsia spokesman Artem Korenyako said in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that the airport temporarily does not accept and does not send flights. The time of resumption of work is not specified.

Earlier, on November 15, Kazan airport imposed temporary restrictions on flights from 13:00 Moscow time. A representative of Rosaviatsia emphasized that aircraft crews, air traffic controllers and airport services are taking all necessary measures to ensure flight safety. The restrictions were lifted two hours later, at 15:00 Moscow time.
