Vilfand predicted a sharp cooling in the south of Russia

In the south of Russia a sharp change in weather and temperature decrease by 10-15 degrees from Sunday is predicted. This was reported on November 21 by the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand.

"In the south of European Russia there will be a very strong temperature drop of 10-14 degrees from Sunday <...> On Monday, frost will intensify," he told TASS.

Vilfand also specified that on Sunday it is expected from +1 to +3 degrees during the day, from 0 to -3 degrees at night.

Earlier, on November 20, leading expert of the weather center "Phobos" Evgeny Tishkovets reported the beginning of snow cover formation in the Moscow region. He added that the snow cover began to form in other regions of Central Russia.
