The Hyacinth-B unit of the Center group of troops destroyed AFU personnel and equipment

Soldiers of the 152-millimeter towed gun "Hyacinth-B" of the "Center" group of troops have destroyed personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Krasnoarmeyskoye direction. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 21.

Air reconnaissance received data on AFU personnel as well as armored vehicles in hangars left behind when Ukrainian fighters retreated from their positions. In the process, the fire was corrected in real time on the assigned targets, which allowed the task to be accomplished with a minimum number of shots. The artillery unit hit the hangars in cooperation with drone operators.

"We mainly work on artillery, transportation vehicles. We shoot every day. There is no such response on us due to camouflage. We work mostly closer to evening, when it gets dark. We've been standing here for about a month, and the enemy is less and less active. When a target arrives, we run to the gun, work on adjustments, camouflage, then withdraw to cover. Our most recent target was Bradley," said Ilya Kranga.

In this direction, the artillerymen also destroy enemy mortar units, artillery systems and Western-made infantry fighting vehicles.

Earlier, on November 19, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the "Hyacinth-B" calculation hit a camouflaged howitzer M777 in the Zaporozhye region. The fighters received the coordinates of the target, a NATO-made M777 howitzer, which gave itself away by striking Russian Armed Forces positions, from aerial reconnaissance means.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
