Buk-M2 missile launchers hit AFU targets in the DNR

Buk-M2 missile launchers shoot down missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Izvestia newspaper has published footage of the Russian servicemen's combat work.
The main task of the Buk-M2 is to protect Russian soldiers from attacks by aircraft, HIMARS missiles, drones and planning bombs of the AFU. With such attacks, Ukrainian militants try to complicate logistics or ammunition deliveries, such as during the offensive near Kurakhovo and Selidovo in the DNR.
"We had to hide the vehicles so that the enemy would not discover, we put the vehicles in the most inconvenient place for them, they did not expect us to be there, and that was it, and destroyed the target," shared Guards captain of the Russian Armed Forces, commander of an anti-aircraft missile battery Murad Ismagilov.
Because of the effectiveness of SAMs, they have become a priority target for the AFU. Thus, the calculation is constantly trying to attack with missiles, but due to the shortage of shells FPV-drones are used. Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Daniil Pantyukhin said that they destroy drones with ordinary rifles. Groups of fighters who protect the SAMs move around in special buggy vehicles.
"Much better cross-country ability, the suspension is softer ... On a variator, power steering," one of the fighters told Izvestia correspondent Stanislav Grigoriev about the car.
In addition, the fighters have begun to leave Buki-Muzhi in the open as a defense measure for SAMs. Such deceptions are made entirely of plywood, but from a bird's-eye view they are absolutely indistinguishable from the real ones. This helps distract the AFU from real SAMs.
Earlier, on November 19, Izvestia published footage of Russian artillerymen collapsing an important bridge for the AFU near Kurakhovo. It is noted that Russian artillerymen managed to destroy the location of Ukrainian militants.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
