T-80BVM tank crews destroyed AFU strongholds and manpower

Crews of T-80BVM tanks of the North group of troops have destroyed camouflaged strongholds and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the special operation zone. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on November 21.
The fire on the enemy positions was adjusted with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). After accomplishing the combat task, the tank unit changed its location in order to prevent artillery return fire or attack by enemy drones.
The T-80BVM tanks are able to independently monitor the progress of the battle and record the movements of enemy vehicles. In addition, they can operate from closed firing positions, which allows them to remain undetected and greatly reduces the risk to the crews.
"We work from closed firing positions, which allows us to maximize the tank's resource. You go to direct fire, you work, and you may not be able to go back. And here one tank fires 100, 150, 200 times", - shared the commander of the tank company with the call sign Cap.
The tankers are protected from enemy drones by a powerful modern system that includes electronic warfare and enhanced dynamic protection.
Comprehensive and timely provision of shells, fuel and lubricants and equipment also contributes to the successful fulfillment of tasks. Timely delivery of all the necessary supplies is ensured by the group's logistical support units.
Earlier, on November 20, the crew of a T-80BVM tank of the Center group also destroyed a stronghold and an ammunition depot and disrupted the rotation of the AFU's manpower. The fire was conducted with 125-millimeter fragmentation-fugitive shells. The tankers helped the attackers to conduct offensive operations and fulfill their combat objectives.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
